On the Tuesday morning we went for our last early morning swim in Canet before heading off to compete in Pescara. After the session we finished with a little bit of Pilates and then packed our bags to leave for the airport. We were getting a mini bus to drive us to the airport that was actually in Spain. So we stayed in France, got a bus to Spain and then flew from Spain to Italy. It was a strange trip, but at all went smoothly and we had...

On Friday morning we travelled to Canet in a convoy of coaches as it was not too far away, and a lot of swimmers were going to the next meet in the Mare Nostrum series, which started in Canet the following day. The journey took around 3 hours and consisted mostly of a tournament on our Nintendo DS. We were playing Mario Cart, which is a great game to kill time on long journeys. We all used them at the Beijing Olympics and have been hooked ...
