Day 1- Thursday 6^th August : I started racing at Leeds on the Thursday morning with the heats of the 50m Freestyle. It was a little strange racing so soon after coming back from the World Championships. But I love racing, and being back in front of a home crowd is always good!

Rome was amazing! And it lived up to all its expectations. A great city with an amazing history, and for me the 13^th FINA World Swimming Championships will be remembered forever!

Day 8 - Saturday 2^nd August : AM - 4 x 100 Medley Heats

The final day started off with me swimming in the heat's of the 4 x 100 Medley relay. At first we were unsure what was going to be best for the team. Resting me, so I would be fresher for the 50m backstroke final later that night, or putting me in as it was going to be tight whether or not we would make the final. In the end the team decided it was going to be best for me to swim in the heats.

Day 7 - Saturday 1^st August : Am - 50m Backstroke Heats

Today was the start of the 50m backstroke and also my brother Ryan's Birthday! I was really looking forward to racing again as I have had the last few days chilling and preparing my body for the 50m Sprint!

Day 6 - Friday 31^st July : It was another great day of racing from the British Swimming team with Fran Halsall picking up a medal in the Women's 100m Freestyle.
