Gig’s / Concert’s
Prince – O2 Arena
In 2007 I went to my first concert, it was Prince at the O2 Arena. I went with my girlfriend Caitlin. We were invited to watch by Red Bull. It was a fantastic experience. I didn’t know what to expect as it was my first concert. But we were treated really well in the Red Bull Box and we both had a great time. We stayed in London for a few days and watched a show aswell.
Foo Fighters- Miami
In January 2008 whilst on a training camp in Florida, a few of my training squad on an afternoon off went to watch the Foo Fighters perform in the Bank Atlantic Centre in Miami. They were great, real entertainers. They had a 2.15 hour set, with a mixture of normal and acoustic.
What’s Next
I can’t wait to go to more gigs and concerts, not sure what or who I would like to see next. But I will defiantly go to more in the future. Maybe a Festival. However I as I have a busy schedule with my training and competition at the moment, it will have to wait. But I do find it a nice way to chill out away from the pressures of sport.
Sporting Events:
I love going to sporting events, whenever I go back to Exeter and the mighty Exeter City are playing, I like to go and watch. Usually with my friend Dan Drew and his family, my brother Ryan and Dad also go. Sometimes other friends come too. Other than Exeter City I like to watch any sport. Where ever I am in the world. I feel it gets me in to the culture of the place. And it can be really exciting. It is also it’s a great talking point.
